How long does freight take between Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast and Gympie?
Next business day on our own vehicles. Freight collected in Brisbane runs north overnight to our Yandina depot, is sorted early the next morning and goes out on that day’s run. The same applies on the coast and to Gympie city, Southside, Monkland and the Bruce Highway corridor. Hinterland, rural and island areas run on set service days each week. These are estimates, not guaranteed delivery times.
How long does freight take from the Sunshine Coast to the rest of Australia?
Beyond our own network it leaves Yandina on our national linehaul partners. Sydney and Melbourne are about 2–3 business days, Adelaide 4–5, Perth 5–6 and Darwin 6–7. All of these are estimates only. Use the checker on this page for any suburb in Australia.
Are these guaranteed delivery times?
No. They are estimates in business days from pickup, not guarantees, and they exclude weekends, public holidays and the day of pickup. Weather, road closures and peak periods can add time. If you have a deadline, tell us when you book and we will tell you honestly whether we can meet it.
When does the clock start?
From pickup, not from when you book. Freight collected after our cut-off starts the next business day. Consignments that are not ready, not labelled or not accessible when the driver arrives start when we actually collect them.
Why is a nearby town slower than a capital city?
Because freight travels to a capital first and is delivered outwards from there, not in a straight line down the map. Capital cities sit on the main linehaul routes and run every night. A regional town is delivered on a run out of whichever capital feeds it, so Seymour takes longer than Melbourne even though it is closer to us, and Albury is quicker than Goulburn because Albury is served out of Melbourne while Goulburn is served out of Sydney. It also means a town can be slower than the towns on either side of it, where it sits at the far end of two different networks — the mid-north coast of New South Wales is the clearest example. If a transit time looks wrong for your lane, call us — we would rather check it than have you plan around the wrong number.
Do you deliver on weekends?
Our standard service is business days, and our office is open 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday and closed weekends and public holidays. Weekend and after-hours delivery can sometimes be arranged on a dedicated vehicle, so call us during office hours to discuss it.
What does ‘on application’ mean?
It means the destination is remote enough that transit depends on the local run serving it, so we check it before we commit to a time. Call 1300 882 117 or request a quote and we will come back to you with a transit time for that address.

The times below are the same figures as the tables above, written as the questions people actually ask. Our pickup area is one origin: a consignment collected in Maroochydore, Caloundra, Mooloolaba, Noosa, Nambour, Coolum, Buderim, Gympie or Caboolture is consolidated at our Yandina depot and leaves on the same linehaul, so the transit time is the same from any of them. The size of the item does not change it either — a satchel, a box, a carton, a skid and a pallet all travel on the same service.
