This policy applies to All Freight Carrying Pty Ltd (ACN 126 171 579) and Parcel Link Pty Ltd (ABN 19 630 696 221), who operate together from 48 Central Park Drive, Yandina QLD 4561 (“we”, “us”). We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Quote requests and enquiries: your name, business name, phone, email, pickup and delivery addresses, and details of the freight.
- Consignments: sender and receiver names, addresses and phone numbers, delivery instructions, and proof of delivery, which can include a signature, a photo of the delivered freight and the time and GPS location of the delivery.
- Credit applications: business details, directors’ or proprietors’ names, addresses and dates of birth, trade references, banking details and guarantor details.
- Job applications: your contact details, CV and anything else you choose to send.
- Website use: standard technical information such as browser type and pages visited, if analytics is in use (see below).
How we use it
- To quote, collect, carry and deliver freight, and to keep senders and receivers informed.
- To provide tracking and proof of delivery.
- To assess credit applications, invoice and collect payment.
- To assess job applications.
- To answer enquiries, handle claims and complaints, and meet our legal obligations.
- To tell existing customers about our services. You can ask us to stop at any time.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only as needed to provide our services, including with:
- subcontractors and linehaul partners who carry part of a consignment;
- the carriers we act for as a pickup and delivery agent;
- providers of our freight management, tracking, email, website and accounting systems;
- credit reporting bodies, trade referees and debt collectors, where you have applied for credit or an account is overdue;
- insurers, assessors and legal advisers in connection with a claim; and
- government agencies where the law requires it.
Some of our system providers may store information outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it.
Our website
- Quote form: details you enter are sent to us by email through a form service. To save you retyping, the form can remember your contact details in your own browser. They stay on your device and you can clear them at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.
- Analytics: we may use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. It uses cookies and does not tell us who you are. You can block cookies in your browser settings.
- Links: our site links to other websites. Their privacy practices are their own.
Storage and security
We store personal information in secure systems with access limited to staff who need it. We keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires, then destroy or de-identify it.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you. If you have a privacy concern or complaint, contact us first and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
